Johnsonville products are enjoyed in 45 countries and served in 130 sports stadiums throughout the U.S. Johnsonville, LLC Corporate Development Manager Position Overview: The Corporate Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategic global growth initiatives. This position involves identifying, evaluating, and executing mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, strategic planning, and business development. Responsibilities:
Conduct research to provide insights on industry trends, competitor activities, consumer trends, and market opportunities and hypothesis for future trends based on, but not limited to, macro and micro economic data
Understand current state of company capabilities (human, asset and operational) and determine future state needs based upon consumer trends, geographies and innovation requirements
Determine key attributes of business lines we need to buy or build
Determine organizational competencies to unlock organic growth and determine buy vs. build decisions
Supporting the development and execution of growth strategies, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, partnerships, and divestitures
Preparing financial models, valuation analyses and presentations to assess potential transactions. Prepare and maintain assessments to inform future M&A activity and targets
Assisting in the due diligence process, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Managing and tracking the progress of various corporate development projects, including domestic and cross-border transactions
Preparing presentations and reports for senior management and the board of directors
Working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful transaction execution and integration
Maintaining relationships with business partners, investors, external resources (including investment banks) and stakeholders
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, required
MBA or relevant advanced degree, preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related field, required
Consumer goods experience, preferred
Global experience, preferred
