Coordinator for Internships, Career & Calling (Personal Services)
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in internships or career guidance preferred.
Experience in working with college students and experience in supervision or group leadership preferred.
Experience in developing local business partnerships including internships preferred.
Simpson is a Hispanic serving institution and bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.). Experience in higher education related software preferred including Colleague, Canvas, and Pharos 360 is preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability and willingness to work in a team-oriented culture.

Essential Functions:
Provides leadership to internship, ePortfolios, and career preparation for Simpson undergraduate students.
Help manage academic support systems within Student Success.
Manages career software and participates in general retention efforts within the student development division.
Collaborates with faculty and business partners to develop and maintain strong internship programs.
Directs vocation-based programming, assessment and evaluation that supports students' access and success through transitions from prospect to alumni status.
Facilitates professional development for team members.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Management retains the right to add or change job duties at any time.
