Position Summary
The Senior Academic Services Administrator manages administrative support for a leading Nurse Anesthesiology Program and the largest Advanced Pain Management Fellowships in the US. This role involves supporting the Program and Fellowship Directors with student recruitment, advising, and coordinating large projects, meetings, events, and workshops. The Senior Academic Services Administrator collaborates with stakeholders within the college, university, and community, streamlines work processes for accreditation and operational efficiency and supervises support staff to manage workflow and ensure comprehensive program support.This position requires a master's degree in education, or a field of study related to the academic program and one (1) year of relevant academic experience, or a bachelor's degree in those same fields with a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
Advising and Compliance
Advise on complex student issues, manage compliance with university policies, and coordinate with external bodies for program certification and student graduation processes.
Administrative Management
Oversee the maintenance of program websites, handbooks, and course materials, ensuring they meet educational standards and accreditation requirements.
Manage high-level administrative tasks such as faculty and adjunct appointments, course scheduling for multiple cohorts, and significant event planning like orientations and annual meetings.
Leadership and Supervision
Supervise administrative support staff, providing guidance, managing workflow, and ensuring cross-coverage for program support.
Collaborate with program directors to enhance operational efficiency, focusing on stakeholder engagement and workflow optimization.
Strategic Support
Support and help implement the programs' continuous evaluation and improvement plans Coordinate timelines and stakeholder communications in both programs' strategic efforts.
