Overview
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for developing and coordinating manufacturing schedules and activities based on material availability, demand forecasts, and manufacturing capacity. This role supports the end-to-end product life cycle of the company's product portfolio for both Laboratory Research Services and AMDC manufacturing.
Responsibilities
• Develops and maintains weekly and short-term manufacturing schedules to align with demand forecasts, raw material availability, and capacity constraints for both Laboratory Research Services and autologous cell (AMDC) manufacturing
• Provides long-term forecasted manufacturing schedules and anticipated product lead times to key stakeholders for incoming procurements, MVR's, AMDC and SkMDC products, Open Labels, contract opportunities and prepared material batches
• Coordinates cross-functional communication to resolve issues and capacity constraints, provides real-time status updates, and timely adjustments to the production schedule
• Initiates Quality System documentation, e.g. product and material associated batch record requests and biopsy receiving
• Assists in maintaining Patient Work Orders for the tracking of patient products through the manufacturing life cycle
• Maintains and updates company and departmental product tracking sheets and dashboards to provide leadership with real-time visibility into operational bottlenecks and overall performance
• Lead or participate in daily operations meetings to provide real-time updates
• Serves as Therapy Champion for the Supply Chain Orchestration system (OCELLOS)
• Assists in tracking changes to the available product catalog and communicates updates to Marketing and Product Management
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or related field with 3+ years relevant supply chain or operations experience; Undergraduate degree in Life Science with 3+ years relevant supply chain or operations experience; or equivalent relevant supply chain or operations experience
Experience with manufacturing scheduling and supply planning within a biotech or cell therapy setting
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, and other general office equipment.
Basic understanding of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and related regulations associated with Bio/Pharmaceutical product manufacturing

• Laboratory Setting (Non-Production: General office, warehouse and laboratory setting with potential (limited) exposure to hazardous chemicals and/or harsh disinfectants while in BioSafety Level II.
• Lab / Non-Production:
• Ability to conduct and hear ordinary conversation and telephone communication.
• Must be able to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended work hours and/or extra work hours, sometimes on short notice as required.
• Ability to work under specific time constraints.
• Must be able to sit at desk, in meetings and/or work on a computer for long or extended periods of time.
• Visual and manual acuity for working with computers and equipment.
• Ability to spend majority of day standing in laboratory setting or sitting in biological safety hood setting.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing steps and ladders, reaching, twisting and bending on occasion with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be capable of performing PPE gowning procedures on a frequent basis to enter BioSafety Level II including safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, specialized clothing including laboratory scrubs (pants and shirt) and facial mask (if required) on a regular basis.
• Must be able to extend arms outright for extended periods of time, periodically at intervals for up to 3 hours at a time.
