About The Role
Essity's Health and Medical Solutions is looking for an experienced Billing Representative to support our Compression Solutions team based out of the office in Tulsa. The Billing Representative is responsible for verifying all information is correct prior to submitting claims to insurance and/or outsourcers, scans paperwork including correspondence to imaging, follows up to verify claims have been billed correctly by outsources and or research why payment has not received, either by via phone/email or researching in system. request medical records when required and handles any other additional documentation associated with insurance claim for Compression Solutions or outsource companies.
This position will be hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. Based on experience, working remotely may be considered and will require 5-10% travel to corporate office.

What You Will Do
Process billing orders for large accounts sales and invoices so that customer orders are dispatched, invoiced, and paid accurately and on time in relevant system according to defined processes and standards.
Process and bill all LTA orders received from customers
Code billing forms for accuracy and compliance
Contact insurance companies to check on status of existing claims based on tasks set by Billing Follow-Up Specialist.
Ensure accuracy of medical codes used on claims to prevent billing errors and denials.
Maintain detailed records of claim submissions within the billing system and generate reports on outstanding tasks based on those claims.
Act as liaison between healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing discrepancies
Review denials in order to task write-offs, rebills, and patient pay
Develop relationship with accounts and 1099's to help facilitate improvement in billing collections
Create weekly reports-based information required by the Billing Intake Specialist or the Revenue Cycle Manager
Who You Are
High school diploma required, or equivalent work experience
Prior experience in billing/medical required
Excellent Typing and 10 Key Skills
Excellent Computer Skills – Requires use of reports
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Detail Oriented
Multitasker
Knowledge of ICD/CPT codes
Knowledge of HCPC codes
