Onboarding Ambassador for Human Resources (Finance)
You must have excellent customer service skills as you will be handling both new employees and the demands of the talent acquisition team. Applicants must have great organizational skills as well as a passion for getting small details accurately and efficiently. This role works at a fast pace and has a high volume in work load. It will be helpful to have experience with credentialing employees in the medical field, and also have a knowledge of how to onboard employees from various international locations. Software used includes Taleo and PeopleSoft, so a comfort level with technology is expected. Candidates must have good judgement skills as well as being able to think critically and independently. You will be expected to partner with many departments at UTHealth Houston including Talent Acquisition, Employee Health, the Office of International Affairs, and the in-house UT Police Department.
This will either be a full-time role or contract. You will work a typical week Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Currently the role will be mostly remote, but may require employees to do a rotation on-site in the heart of medical center on a regular basis. Employees will be extended all UTHealth Houston benefits including healthcare coverage and a pension run by the State of Texas. Applicants should live or plan to relocate to Texas in order to come in if required.

Position Summary:
The Onboarding Ambassador is responsible for managing the entire onboarding process and experience of new hires into the organization. This role creates tracking mechanisms, researches outstanding items, reviews and makes independent judgment decisions regarding the process. In addition, the Onboarding Ambassador is responsible for creating a positive new hire experience throughout the entire process while helping the university meet its current and emerging workforce needs.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
Minimum Experience:
One (1) year of related experience. Preferred experience with an academic or healthcare environment.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
