Lending Support Specialist (Administrative)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs quality audits of paperwork and data input on the Credit Union's consumer products and real estate loan products to ensure they are performed in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, rules, regulations and laws.
• Prepares and tracks written issues, for errors found during the auditing process, via automated issue tracking system. Responds to inquiries and provides feedback to employees to minimize future errors.
• Prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports.
• Stays abreast of all applicable State, Federal and NCUA laws and regulations and Fannie Mae guidelines.
• Responsible for HMDA data collection and validation; analyzes and interprets loan applications and related documentation to ensure appropriate HMDA coding.
• Conducts HMDA reportable quarterly file reviews and annual HMDA submission; works across multiple Credit Union departments and systems to ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Ensures compliance with applicable Credit Union policies and procedures relating to loan products.
• Assists with system testing and research with lending issues and efficiencies.

Education Requirements
High School or GED
Experience Requirement
2 Years - Lending Experience - Required
1 Year - Experience with Hyland OnBase, Meridianlink and CORE - Preferred

• Learn and apply information, on a wide range of Credit Union products, services and regulatory compliance requirements, in order to assess member situations and develop solutions.

• Communicate in a professional manner and deliver information clearly and effectively. Actively listen to questions, opinions and ideas of others. Use tact and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations.
• Use correct English including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Operate computers and use business software and other standard office equipment.

• Set priorities and manage one's own time effectively.
