Wax Cell Operators B's are responsible for the following skills: pattern inspection, pattern sub-assembly, mold assembly, including gating into finished molds, pinner/robot, engraving. Trainees must successfully complete written and practical assessment of skills/knowledge at end of skills training.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 12 HOUR ROTATING NIGHT SHIFTS, 7:00 P.M TO 7:00 A.M. (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off)
Pay rate begins at $20.54 and tops out at $23.68

Essential Functions
1. Performs inspection of all patterns and decides to accept, repair or scrap the part per documented instructions.
2. Follows established protocol for notification of potential deviations or scrap trends.
3. Performs set-up of dimensional gauges.
4. Dimensionally inspects cores and wax patterns using supplied gauging to specified tolerances.
5. Utilizes the necessary fixturing or gauges to assure dimensional conformance of the pattern/mold to specified tolerances.
6. Prepares sprues as required and locates ceramic bracing per engineering specifications.
7. Attaches the pattern to the gating and seals per the specified method.
8. Performs seal operations as specified.
9. Performs dip seal operations as specified ensuring that the gates are sealed on the mold but are not over dipped.
10. Performs sub-assembly of multiple airfoil patterns.
10. Responsible for the quality of the entire mold assembly
11. Torch sprues, seal and pour cup. Add bracing as required per engineering specifications.
12. Sets up equipment as required to perform specific activities
Performs all operations associated with pinner/robot.
13. Must pay close attention to detail.
14. Maintains necessary supplies for the area to maximize productivity.
15. Performs other duties as required.
16. Complies with all EHS rules related to the work environment.
17. Works OT as needed.
18. Follows 5S rules and procedures.
19. Utilize help chain when needed. (Human Performance, BOLO)
