IMPaCT Senior Program Director (Project Management)
The salary for this position starts at $62,000. We take into consideration an individuals background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part-time or full-time status. 1. Job Summary: The IMPaCT Senior Program Director is responsible to support a team of Community Health Workers (CHW) who utilized evidence-based model of care to provide structured advocacy, social support and navigation to help client achieve their health goals. Provide operational and administrative support for ongoing projects focusing on enabling CHWs to enhance health outcomes. This role is contingent upon continued funding. 2. Essential Functions: Supervise a team of Community Health Workers who will work their clients to know them as people and help them do the things that they think will improve their health such as offering a listening ear, connecting them to healthcare services and resources like food delivery, or working out with them at the YMCA. Recruit, train, coach and develop Community Health Workers, providing mentorship, and fostering professional development within the organization and while ensuring effective support to participants. Support the identification, outreach and enrollment of participants eligible for the IMPaCT program. Attend in-person site visits, in clinic, hospital or home with Community Health Workers, as necessary, to assess needs, provide support, and ensure access to care. Ensure programs meet health regulations, funding requirements, and best practices. Track program outcomes using qualitative and quantitative methods to assess effectiveness. Assist in developing and delivering programs while supporting hands-on services in the program, as needed. Assist with program management at multiple locations; this may include conducting program observation/evaluations and compliance audits. Assist in marketing and program communication to members, participants and community partners. Serve as a liaison between various program areas, branches, site locations and lead agency partners to implement and assist managing projects and programs which may include youth professional development and leadership. Review monthly reports, communicate budget status with Program Executive and assist with managing budget. Perform administrative duties necessary to support the program. Assist in identifying and supporting grant reporting and implementation process. Represent the YMCA of the North in the community by participating in public relations and promotional activities. Assist with the management of program volunteers. 3. Qualifications: Required Associates degree. Minimum three (3) years non-profit experience Strong communication and writing skills. Excellent organizational skills, very detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively. Experience with data collection, analysis, and protocol implementation. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Maintain up to date knowledge of program areas of focus. Ability to deliver presentations to various audiences. Ability to build strong relationships with individuals and build community within a group. Excellent understanding of the healthcare and social service systems including processes for enrolling in public benefits Knowledge of the resources and community-based organizations in Anoka, Hennepin, and Ramsey Counties Ability to work with a diverse population. Demonstrated understanding and support of the YMCAs mission. Preferred BA/BS degree in related field. Bi/multilingual Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience 4. Work Conditions: Ability to travel locally between locations to attend meetings, training and events. Perform all physical aspects of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time. Ability to recognize and react calmly and effectively in hazardous/dangerous situations. May be exposed to verbal outbursts, physical actions or bodily fluids as part of the environment. Work environments range from quiet work areas to busy, noisy indoor and outdoor spaces with several groups talking amongst themselves concurrently. Must be able to actively participate in youth games/activities. 5. Relationships: This position reports to the Program Executive who reports to Vice President of Community Impact. The incumbent interacts regularly with youth, families, community partners/agencies, educators, volunteers and other YMCA program staff. 6.
