Supply Chain Supervisor (Finance)

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Entry level supervision for supply chain teams while maintaining a heavy technical hands-on responsibility

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervision of supply chain associates (performance, DA, staffing, policy communication/adherence)
• Ensures execution of objectives in support of the business unit's supply chain functions
• Serves on Functional, divisional and/or corporate projects as needed
• Coordinate with other Supply Chain Leaders on developing/maintaining material processes for business unit (inventory, negotiation, purchasing, freight)
• Support Business Unit's Strategic Vision
• Initiating Continuous Improvement Activities for team
• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High School diploma or equivalent Required.
• 4-year Degree Required and 2 years applicable experience
- Supply chain experience preferred
- Applicable Masters or APICS Certification counts as one year of experience
- ***Coop, Intern, Temp experience does not count towards the requirements
• OR
High School Diploma or equivalent required and
• 9 years applicable Experience
- Supply chain experience preferred
- Previous supervision preferred
• and
• Microsoft Office suite experience Required.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts Required.
• Oracle/ERP system experience Required

OTHER POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
• Some travel (up to 25%) may be required.
o Specific assignments may have additional travel requirements
• Must be customer service oriented
• Must be able to maintain company confidentiality
• Should be able to handle stress and deadlines
• Expected to participate/lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives
