Archaeological Field Technicians for Phase II Excavations Needed in Pike County, Kentucky The West Virginia office of Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. has up to three archaeological field technician positions available for a Phase II archaeological site evaluation in eastern Kentucky. The project will be conducted as a single 10-day mobilization from December 4 through December 13, 2024. Candidates with experience in test unit and feature excavations are strongly preferred. This is a federal Prevailing Wage project in Pike County, Kentucky with a wage rate of for these projects will typically be at $24.31 per hour with per diem of $59 per day and single occupancy hotel rooms. Lodging and cash per diem will be provided for all work days. Additional accommodations can be made for experienced candidates. CRA does NOT use non-compete clauses for any of our projects or positions. A bachelor's degree in anthropology and attendance in a field school are required. Candidates need to have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness and demonstrated ability to work in adverse winter weather conditions.
