Job Summary:
We are looking for a Logistics and Supply Chain Specialists to support Supermicro Global Service network by managing service parts supply and stocking. The candidate is expected to ensure that components are stocked at our 3PL partner and inventory is reconciled.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Oversee parts stocking at 3PL partner for Service customers
• Work with vendors to ensure adequate supply of components
• Work with various internal teams including accounting, shipping, production, and procurement
• Follow up with external and internal parties on outstanding parts
• Work with 3PL to ensure parts are dispatched in accordance with SLA
• Work with various internal product managers to understand the equipment configurations related to service and be able to detect errors
• Work with IT, ACCT, and RMA for needed reports and inventory reconciliation
• Keep internal database up to date for service inventory management
• Escalate any service inventory issue outside control to the appropriate TAM
• Manage time effectively and be able to prioritize while meeting daily service expectations
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience from high-tech manufacturing industry preferred
• Experience in the IT industry is a plus
• Knowledge of inventory management and logistics elements
• Travel may be required
• Proficiency in MS Office and database management
• Must be punctual and detail-oriented
• Good time management
• Work logically and systematically
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions as necessary
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Salary Range
$67,000 - $88,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
