Senior Health and Wellness Coordinator (Finance)
2. Essential Functions:
Provide supervision to various health and wellness groups through the guidance and collaboration with the Executive or Operations Director of the branch.
Work hands-on in program areas of expertise.
Deliver, plan, coordinate and promote health and wellness programs and/or classes.
Promote and educate team members, members and community participants on the benefits of participating in key healthy living programs to maximize revenue potential and increase member retention.
Collaborate with the branchs Executive or Operations Director to recruit, hire, train, manage and develop performance of team members.
Manages team members timecards edits and approval, processes payroll and schedules.
Provide quality customer service to members, volunteers, and participants.
Assist the branchs Executive or Operations Director with budget development and management.
Work hands-on in programs of expertise.
Maintain quality fitness floor equipment and ensure cleanliness of program areas.
3. Relationships:
This position generally reports to the branchs Executive or Operations Director who reports to the Associate Vice President of Operations. In some instances, this position may report to a Program Director. Under the guidance of their supervisor, the incumbent directly supervises team members in various areas of leadership.
4. Qualifications:
Required:
Education and/or equivalent experience relating to fitness, exercise physiology, or health and wellness.
Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience.
Minimum of one (1) year experience working in Health and wellness programs.
Excellent organization, communication, and administration skills.
Ability to recruit, train and motivate team members.
CPR/PR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen certifications (within 30 days of hire).
National Fitness Certification.
Preferred:
Degree in Health and Science or related field.
Group Fitness and Personal Training Certification.
5. Physical Demands:
Must be able to conduct classes and all activities relating to health and wellness.
6. Additional Notes:
This job description represents the major functions of the position, but it is not intended to be all-inclusive.
