We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to help ensure our residents have clean, comfortable clothing and linens each day. If you enjoy hands-on work and making a difference behind the scenes, this could be the perfect fit! The Laundry Aide plays a crucial role in providing laundry services as directed in the facility. Responsibilities vary based on shift activity, and the role requires efficiency, teamwork, and attention to sanitation standards.

What You'll Do:
- Collect soiled laundry daily or as needed from resident rooms
- Label new residents' clothing to keep items organized
- Sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens
- Deliver clean laundry items to residents' rooms
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify when stock is low
- Remove stained, damaged, or worn linens from circulation
- Report any laundry equipment issues to the Administrator
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols in the laundry process
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
- Basic reading, math, and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and ask for help when needed
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
- Frequent use of industrial laundry machines and related equipment
Work Environment:
- Low to moderate noise level
- Safe, team-focused environment
- Reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals
Other Notes:
This role does not include supervisory responsibilities. PLEASE NOTE: Responsibilities may change as needed to best serve our residents and facility.
