Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour Job Summary: The Junior Assistant Manager is responsible for providing support to the Management and Operations team, leading staff, and helping maintain the flow of the store. The "JAM" exemplifies the company's value and culture. The JAM assists store management in creating an environment that ensures the highest standards of patient/customer care, compliance, and maximum productivity and efficiency by enforcing company policies and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Maintain a positive environment and premium experience for all patients/customers and staff. ? Open and close store. ? Ensure 100% compliance with city and state codes and regulations. ? Model communication of our brand, company mission and values, and industry best practices. ? Ensure an appropriate selection of sellable products are available at all times. ? METRC responsibilities, including tag merging/shredding when inactive, accepting manifested transfers, and manifesting product when necessary. ? Add new products and inventory to Inventory Tracking System, conduct inventory audits, transfer products, and access all menus, including Good Chemistry's website, to update as necessary. ? Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment. ? Maintain operations by enforcing personnel policies and store procedures. ? Complete designated responsibilities in a timely manner. ? Interact with 3rd party vendors to ensure all manifests and invoices are signed and filed appropriately. ? Demonstrate leadership and compassionate management. ? Support staff performance through coaching employees, appraising job results and giving appropriate feedback when necessary. ? Recommend discipline and provide recognition when warranted. ? Ensure excellence in training for new hires and ongoing training for staff. ? Ensure the collection of patient/customer feedback for the purpose of providing the best customer experience. ? Void tickets, replace defective products, and complete payouts as directed by management. ? Help maintain accurate and tidy product displays. ? Provide product quality inspections. ? Assist Inventory Manager with harvest drops and complete drop independently if necessary. ? Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements (Education and Experience) ? Must be able to obtain an ME/MTC badge from the Cannabis Control Commission ? Must be able to pass criminal background check ? Some secondary education is preferred. ? Previous experience budtending or extensive training in dispensary operations. Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) ? Ability to work well in a team. ? Experience with Point of Sale/Inventory Tracking System, METRC inventory tracking system experience is a huge plus. ? Knowledge of basic compliance laws associated with the sale of marijuana. ? Extensive product knowledge and general enthusiasm for cannabis. ? Excellent written and verbal communication. ? Background in high volume retail sales. ? Success working both independently and in groups. ? Enthusiasm to learn and ability to catch onto lengthy procedures quickly. ? Ability to count and organize large amounts of inventory. ? Knowledge of Good Chemistry's message, strains, and in-house products. ? Demonstration of basic computer proficiencies related to Point of Sale operation, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Apple OS. ? Ability to commit to flexible schedule availability. ?
