Accreditation Administrator- Assessment, Quality Improvement, and Accreditation (Finance)
The Accreditation Administrator oversees and manages the entire accreditation process for the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine (TJFFCOM), including professional school, regional, and state accreditation functions. This role involves leading the preparation and submission of all accreditation materials to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position will report directly to the Associate Dean for Assessment, Quality Improvement, and Accreditation.
1. Manages and maintains all current and archival documents related to accreditation and medical school reporting, including materials for the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
2. Oversees the processes for completing and submitting accreditation documents and medical school reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
3. Develops and implements style guides for accreditation materials and medical school reporting, ensuring all documents adhere to these guidelines.
4. Ensures that all data sources used in accreditation materials and medical school reporting are archived and accessible in their original format.
5. Creates and manages data tables pertinent to accreditation and quality improvement initiatives.
6. Maintains an accessible public site for accreditation materials for constituents at the College of Medicine.
7. Oversees the management of a private site dedicated to developing accreditation materials.
8. Coordinates and facilitates site visits and all activities associated with accreditation evaluations.
9. Leads the annual updates of accreditation documents to meet current standards and requirements.
10. Serves as the Administrator for the Quality Improvement Committee, providing support and guidance.
11. Oversees day-to-day activities related to institutional quality improvement initiatives.
12. Performs additional job-related duties as assigned by the Associate Dean.
MQ: Education: Requires application of advanced principles, techniques and theory in a professional discipline or a thorough general business management knowledge. Knowledge of this level is typically obtained through a directly job-related Master's degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.
