Senior Director, Strategy & Analytics - HT (Finance)

SUMMARY

The Senior Director, Strategy & Analytics is responsible for driving growth and related initiatives across formulary/product management, home and value-based care programs at US Renal Care, including setting the strategic plan, executing work plans and strategies, business process re-engineering, and overseeing execution and operations.

The role will provide leadership for Formulary Management staff and facility pharmacy operations, including oversight of the development, implementation, assessment, revision of processes, and necessary training of frontline staff. Role will also implement a formulary exception process within USRC and determine metrics and the analytics required to demonstrate cost reduction and effectiveness associated with the program as it pertains to USRC Rx and USRC.

The position will work closely with the Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations on essential strategic and operational ventures. While the responsibilities will be fluid, the focus will be on high-priority initiatives that enable USRC's growth in innovative therapeutics, home dialysis, increasing pre-dialysis care, and transition towards value-based care.

• Drive and support critical cross-functional initiatives touching innovative therapeutics, home and/or value-based care goals.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities (and threats) and work with key stakeholders to develop and refine long-term strategic plans and objectives.
• Translate business goals into actionable enablement plans and P&L opportunities measured by KPIs. As required, lead the development and delivery of enablement programs, tools, and resources.
• Analyze opportunities by developing businesses cases, conducting analytics, building growth strategies, and implementation plans, including project management at times.
• Partner with other areas of USRC, including Operations, Finance, Business Development, Clinical Services, to bring cutting-edge ideas/products to our patients and physician partners.
• Present findings to build consensus and gain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and physicians.
• In collaboration with direct supervisor and other key internal stakeholders, develops medication formulary and pharmacy/vendor partnership strategy, processes and development which allows USRC to grow to meet the needs of the enterprise as it continues to expand the care of patents living with kidney disease.
• Leads the team overseeing Formulary Management and Pharmacy Operations process that uses process improvement principles and that generates continual improvement in Pharmacy Operations and its efficiency. This includes evaluation of given process including job performance, determining the current efficiency, and then implement strategy and optimized process, documenting all aspects of the process.
