Talent Marketing Manager (Finance)

At the center of much of this work is our Talent Marketing team, and as the Talent Marketing Manager, you will help bring this work to the next level!
This role is located in Arden Hills, MN (Hybrid work arrangement each week). Qualified internal candidates outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul will be considered for a virtual/remote work arrangement.
In this role, your main responsibilities will involve developing and executing strategic, clear and engaging marketing efforts that support HR initiatives and enhance the overall employee experience.
As the primary owner of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) strategy, you will also work to deliver a consistent and engaging message across all talent segments - from candidate to alumni. This includes managing candidate-facing content deployed through digital channels in support of Talent Acquisition initiatives, as well as functional communications content deployed to our current employees, in support of our employer brand.
As both a strategic leader and player-coach, you will provide consulting support, while also being hands-on, creating functional content and campaigns aligned with HR's biggest initiatives.
However, none of this work is done in a vacuum and as the Talent Marketing Manager, you will also be partnering closely with Corporate Communications to drive a cohesive editorial calendar and ensure HR messaging aligns with broader organizational communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities include:
Strategic Talent Marketing & Functional Communications Content Development
• Develop and execute HR Talent Marketing Strategy ensuring that content is aligned with the organization's EVP and business priorities.
• Craft compelling messaging for key HR initiatives, including policy changes, program rollouts, and employee resources (leveraging existing assets, minor graphic design, copywriting, HR and legal routing).
• Serve as the primary liaison between HR and Corporate Communications to align messaging and maintain a cohesive editorial calendar.
Employer Value Proposition (EVP) & Messaging Alignment
• Own and evolve the EVP strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational growth and talent goal, and cascading across all HR communications.
• Develop thematic messaging that connects HR initiatives to the organization's culture, values, and employer brand.
• Actively manage critical response situations in conjunction with Corporate Communications.
Leadership
• Lead a Talent Marketing Consultant, helping Land O'Lakes maintain best in class Candidate Marketing and expanding that capability across the full employee lifecycle.
• Strengthen HR's overall communications capabilities through team management (one direct report) and talent development, and indirect coaching.
• Collaborate regularly with Communications team to leverage and synchronize content and publishing.
• Provide strong input in vendor related discuss related to Talent Marketing and content production across all areas of HR.
Manage Budget & Talent Marketing Analytics
• Create a comprehensive set of metrics/dashboard to communicate the value and state of Talent Marketing at Land O'Lakes.
• Review regular report to identify ROI of Talent Marketing initiatives, with a special focus on areas of investment in the Candidate Marketing.
Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience (i.e., Communications, Digital Marketing)
• Experience in marketing, communications, talent experience or customer facing HR roles
• Experience consulting and driving alignment with senior leaders
• Strong understanding of customer centric processes such as human centered design
• Experience in managing digital execution - both day-to-day maintenance, strategic campaigns and emerging trends/best practices
• Understanding of employment branding development
• Experience leading complex projects, managing risk and driving a team to deliver the highest quality results for our clients
• Innovative and bold mindset
• Comfort operating with ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree and 3+ years of in the talent experience space
• 2 years of experience managing social media communities
• Digital site development and production experience
• Process improvement experience
• Data analytics experience
Hiring Range: $91,120-$136,680. In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
