Jr Test Engineer (Engineering)

The Test Engineer will join our team and work with the Benefits and Memorials Independent Verification and Validation (BAM IV&V) team for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this position, the test engineer would work with the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS) testing team for the Compensation and Pension product line within the BAM portfolio.

Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate with internal and external teams to execute sprint testing schedule
Test Case Development for manual test cases/regression testing based on functional requirements
Document and report identified issues/defects in tracking tools (JIRA)
Assist in creation of test plans, analysis, and reporting documentation
Develop products in adherence to 508 regulations and standards
Analyze areas for process improvement and identify technical solutions
Attend all internal and external meetings as required
