Job Summary:

Oakwood Gardens Care Center, a premier skilled nursing facility in Fresno, CA, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our exceptional team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our residents, fostering a safe and supportive environment, and ensuring the highest standard of living for those in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Report changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Support residents in maintaining their dignity and independence.
• Help with meal service, including serving, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and facility policies.
• Participate in training and continuing education to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to caregiving.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
