Marketing Assistant (Marketing)
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Marketing DirectorCollaborate with Marketing Director to develop and execute marketing strategyUndertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the departments activitiesCollect marketing data and metrics for Marketing Director to evaluate and identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.Assist with organizing various projects (trade shows, conferences and other marketing events)Develop content for social media in collaboration with the Marketing DirectorCollaborate and assist in the creation of engaging and compelling content, including blog posts, articles, newsletters, and multimedia assetsServe as assistant for print, web, videos, creative projects working closely with the Marketing DirectorUphold brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing communications and touchpoints.
Experience:
High school diploma and 1+ years experience working in marketing. Training will be provided so entry level candidates are encouraged to apply for this role.Social Media Management experience preferredTactical, Military, Law Enforcement Industry experience preferred
Desired Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to think quickly, respond immediately and creativelyStrong communication, organization and interpersonal skillsAn ability to work independently and collaborativelyAbility to integrate with a diverse team with varying opinions and ideasAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and cope professionally with changing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in photography, video shooting, editing, and production software is preferred
