\n This position will teach in undergraduate and/or graduate programs; may serve as a liaison between the USF College of Nursing and designated clinical facilities, requiring some travel to clinical sites; mentor nursing students; and engage in college, university, community, and professional service activities commensurate with the rank of Associate Professor. Faculty may be assigned to teach at any of the college's three campuses: Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee.Minimum Qualifications: \n

Possession of a PhD in Nursing, DNP, or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization from an accredited institution, with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, scholarship, and service.
\n
Eligibility to practice and maintain licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Florida.
\n
A demonstrated record of scholarly achievement, including creative work, professional writing, or research in referred and other professional journals, and recognition as an authority in the field of specialization. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Associate Professor.

\n Preferred Qualifications:

\n
Experience with technology-supported educational methods (online or blended formats).
\n
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with community partners.
\n
Experience teaching diverse learners.
\n
Current clinical practice experience.
\n
Experience teaching in an academic baccalaureate program.
\n
At least two years of relevant academic teaching experience in a clinical setting.

Teaching: Deliver face-to-face didactic, online, clinical, and lab instruction for undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses. Engage in program and curriculum review, as well as clinical site and student evaluation.
\n
Scholarship/Service: Conduct scholarly activities, including publications and presentations, in accordance with university criteria for appointment at the rank. Participate in college and university committees as appropriate. Contribute to community and professional service activities in line with university criteria for appointment at the rank.
