Environmental Insurance Professional (Finance)
Job Objectives:
Underwrite and grow a portfolio of environmental liability insurance products through strategic business relationships with wholesale and retail brokers. Utilize your business acumen and underwriting skills to develop pricing and negotiate terms and conditions in order to build a profitable book of business.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Underwrite new and renewal environmental insurance products and negotiation of policy terms and conditions while adhering to Allied World Environmental Underwriting Guidelines.
· Distribution management: develop a broker distribution strategy in order to generate new business opportunities and manage existing accounts.
· Prepare quotes, binders, referrals, and underwriting file documentation in compliance with company guidelines.
· Develop and manage positive and effective working relationships with a commitment to service for all associates (brokers, insureds, and internal personnel) leading to high customer satisfaction.
· Coordinate and perform regular marketing calls, account stewardship meetings, and events to promote Allied World product offerings.
· Participate in local professional organizations and remain current and engaged with existing and prospect insureds and brokers on key developments in the marketplace.
· Continue professional development through relevant training courses, continuing education, and/or seminars.
