Develop and maintain configuration policies and settings for client devices, mobile devices, and IoT systems to ensure compliance with security standards.Manage the City's MDM solution, ensuring secure provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management of mobile and IoT devices.Establish and document standard operating procedures for device management, including policy enforcement, updates, and security patches.Work with the Service Delivery team to create and maintain standard images for laptops and other client devices.Develop and implement device provisioning and de-provisioning processes, including hardware configuration and software deployment.Analyze and address performance issues across client devices, including troubleshooting and problem resolution for complex endpoint issues.Conduct research on emerging MDM technologies, IoT management solutions, and best practices to enhance the City's technology ecosystem.Monitor and manage device security, including the application of encryption, antivirus software, and mobile device policies.Plan and conduct performance reviews for team members, ensuring that training needs are identified and addressed.Prepare budget proposals, manage expenditures, and forecast future resource needs for the endpoint management function.Support Systems Engineering and Networking teams to ensure proper integration and operation of endpoint devices within the broader IT infrastructure.Develop and maintain detailed documentation for device configurations, network settings, and security policies.Oversee the development of self-service tools and knowledge base content for end-users to enhance device self-management.Ensure compliance with all applicable technology governance frameworks, such as ITIL or COBIT, within the endpoint management domain.Manage after-hours support for endpoint-related incidents and requests.
