Mechanical CADD Technician - Building Engineering (Finance)
Our building engineering team assesses the structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in facilities with an emphasis on efficiency and quality. The Mechanical Department is looking for a Mechanical/HVAC CADD Technician to join our Nashville, Orlando or Chicago office.
Responsibilities:
Complete detailed drawings from sketches, plans, specifications, and written and verbal instructions using computer-aided drafting programs.
Coordinate with others to design, lay out, or detail components and systems, to ensure conformity to design concepts, and to resolve design or other problems.
Modify and revise designs to correct deficiencies or reduce production problems.
Perform appropriate standard calculations.
Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
Knowledge of standard operations, policies and procedures of a Firm preferably within the A/E industry.
Skill in design and drawing within an architectural/engineering environment.
Knowledge of Mechanical/HVAC CADD techniques, tools and principles.
Knowledge of and the ability to apply basic engineering principles, practices and techniques.
Ability to exercise strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
Ability to be proactive in determining the necessary steps to meet objectives and performance expectations of position.
Skill in design and drawing within an architectural/engineering environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma (GED) with advanced manual or computer drafting coursework and a minimum of five (5) years of job related experience.
Strongly prefer Associate's degree in CADD drafting/Revit
