WL - Production Coordinator (Finance)
The Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring manufacturing and production processes operate successfully at the facility. The Production Coordinator will report directly to the Sr Manager - Controls Ops. The Production Coordinator will ensure necessary materials and components are available when they're needed and will also be responsible for assigning employees to specific tasks. The Production Coordinator must have strong communication skills in order to coordinate effectively with other departments and employees. The Production Coordinator will work closely with our engineering, procurement, and manufacturing team members to make sure production is running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
• Establish priorities and expedite work efficiently
• Generate work orders and track manufacturing processes
• Schedule and maintain workflow through the manufacturing shop
• Maintain delivery schedule production
• Provides accurate and timely documentation and support to all production operations
• Accountable for ensuring that all work orders issued are accurate
• Utilizes various tools to monitor for scheduling changes
• Manages the flow of all work orders requirements and are acceptable for release by Quality Department
• Reconciles manufacturing related inventory variances with Supervisor.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Manufacturing environment experience is preferred
• Familiar with Office and ERP systems is helpful
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have the ability to pay extreme attention to detail
• Must have excellent follow-up skills
