At Medtronic Neuromodulation, we transform patient lives by providing stimulation and ablation therapies to treat movement disorders (Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremor), Epilepsy, and chronic pain. The Core Team Leader (CTL) for Brain Modulation Digital Health is a cross-functional business leader, accountable for developing and executing strategies to transform the user experience for patients, customers, and Medtronic employees through digital technologies. The CTL collaborates with senior leadership to develop strategies and business objectives and is accountable to ensuring business outcomes are delivered at all phases of product development programs, from conception to launch. The Digital Health CTL is the primary champion for overcoming barriers, implementing a culture of iterative and agile design, and building and empowering a team of innovators charting the next phase in Brain Modulation product innovation.
Business Leadership:
Strategic planning - Cast a compelling vision of the digital future to improve patient outcomes and clinician workflows. Helps articulate the key clinical and business goals that can be addressed with the help of the digital platform.
Stakeholder Management - Accountable for aligning on the vision, strategic plan, and execution plans with key sponsors and stakeholders - including Operating Unit functions, Medtronic Corporate functions, and external stakeholders/partners.
Best Practice Process Leader - Champion Agile and user centric development practices. Drive the collection of high-quality VOX input to define solutions that optimize the user experience and business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Leader - Be a strong leader in a cross-functional matrix structure, including building relationships, ensuring clear communications, and engaging core team members and functional leaders to ensure proper resourcing and resolution of escalated issues.
Program Leadership:
Accountable for the formation of high-performance, cross-functional Core Teams
Accountable for ensuring that Core Team(s) are focused on predictability through rigorous planning and execution of project baselines including scope, cost, schedule, resources, risk, and quality.
Accountable for providing leadership on key project decisions surrounding scope, execution management, change control, trade-off's, etc. - arbitrate and resolve escalated issues.
Accountable for championing resource management discussions with functional organizations to ensure that all Core Teams are staffed to be successful.
Accountable for ensuring that the Core Team(s) achieve contracted commitments and performance metrics.
Accountable for the development and execution of market commercialization plans and releases to all markets that are in scope.
Talent Development Leadership:
As part of Core Team development, leverage the talents of individual Core Team Members through role definitions within the team.
Mentor and coach Core Team Members as part of a cross-functional partnership with functional organizations to build a sustainable pipeline of talent.
Create and cultivate an empowered culture where Core Team Members are encouraged to think critically, think different, make decisions, and lead - build competency and capability across the core team.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$188,800.00 - $283,200.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
