Traffic Coordinator (Transportation)
Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate dock appointment schedule to ensure timely shipment and delivery of freight.
Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, customer service teams, 3PL, and carries to ensure seamless operations and effective communication throughout the transportation process.
Communication: Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers to ensure all parties are informed about freight scheduled and any change that may occur.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, including bills of lading, customer specific paperwork, and customs documents.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve transportation related issues with internal teams and external partners to maintain service quality.
Organization: Proficiency in maintaining organized systems for shipments using tools like spreadsheets, checklists, or other software.
Customer Compliance: Ensure adherence to customer requirements and standards to ensure compliance and quality service.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years' experience as a Traffic Coordinator and be proficient in all duties.
Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or minimum of three years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Great attention to detail.
The ability to adapt quickly while working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good time management skills.
Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This position will work out of our off site warehouse in Neenah, WI Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Mental demands include multi-tasking, decision making, problem solving, comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, and synthesizing data.
