Job Summary The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of daily accounting tasks. This role involves preparing and reconciling financial statements, processing invoices, and handling general ledger entries. The Staff Accountant will assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, contribute to budget preparation, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The position also requires collaboration with other departments to track manufacturing costs and assist with audits. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and experience with accounting software are essential for success in this role. Job Responsibilities Load data on monthly and quarterly basis to consolidating software. Prepare and coordinate supporting schedules for the consolidation software. Analyze financial statement components. Review income statement and balance sheet component accounts for consistent use and application. Report and analyze schedules for annual budgets and forecasts. Provide support in month end closing, productivity calculations, and profitability reporting. Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Design templates using report writing software to capture financial data and make reporting and analyzing more efficient. Analyze and reconcile various financial accounts using spreadsheets and work papers, including prepaids, accruals, and other receivables and liabilities. Prepare tax filings and state registrations Manage and execute daily invoicing activities. Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes. Research and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Exhibit exemplary attendance. Protecting themselves and their co-workers by adhering to all company safety & health policies Must work with the EHS department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met; OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA and Amphenol sustainability practices. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.. Experience: Minimum of 2 Years of Accounting experience. Physical: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead. Must be able to lift and carry 0-25lbs. frequently . Preferred: Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Above average excel usage and formula knowledge.
