Physical Therapist (PT) (Healthcare)
• Initial Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to assess residents' physical abilities, including range of motion, strength, balance, and gait.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based practices to address residents' specific needs and goals.
• Direct Patient Care: Provide direct one-on-one and group therapy sessions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and pain management.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as:
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Supervision: Supervise and direct the work of physical therapist assistants (PTAs).
• Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, Medicare, and state licensing boards.
