Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. The Marine Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing a fleet of vessels under the guidance of the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing efficient marine dispatch support.
Coordinating and resolving any issues or problems reported by the boats, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate departments for resolution.
Setting up and closing out all jobs for the vessel group.
Reviewing daily boat logs, addressing any issues that arise, and handling purchase orders.
Maintaining accurate and timely communication with customers regarding the status of vessels working for them through email and phone calls.
Ensuring accurate transmission of orders received from customers to relevant parties.
Assisting with operations on a 12-hour, 7-day per week basis when on call or available for consultation, including scheduled days off.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
A High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Maritime, or a related technical field is preferred.
3 years of experience in dispatch operations or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of dispatch operations and marine vessel operations is preferred.
Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations, such as percentages, ratios, and proportions, is required.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel, are required.
Ability to assume responsibility, adaptability, and multitask effectively under stressful conditions is required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders of the business at different levels of the organization, is required.
Ability to adjust communication style to effectively persuade, negotiate, and engage parties based on the audience and circumstances.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
Demonstrated conscientiousness, dependability, and commitment to the role, team, and company.
Availability to assist with operations on a 12-hour, 7-day per week basis when on call, or to provide consultation during scheduled days off.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
Must satisfactorily pass background and drug screen.
