Data Analytics Internship (Finance)

Help support a mission that saves lives! At Vitalant, we're dedicated to providing a safe and reliable blood supply to patients in need. As a Data Analytics Intern, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data reporting processes.

Location: On-site in Scottsdale, AZ

This Internship is a part-time opportunity working flexible days and hours during the week. Selected applicants can work 16-24 hours per week Monday through Thursday based on availability.

In this internship, you will:

• Assist with Power BI dataset connectivity and modifications, including updating code for data sources.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accurate reporting.
• Work with Power BI Edit Query and DAX, supporting On-Prem to Cloud Migration efforts.
• Learn and apply key concepts in model building and data governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain real-world experience in corporate data analytics.

Knowledge/ Education

Enrolled in a formal intern program at an educational institution required.

Skills/ Abilities

Ability to work in a team environment.

Able to set priorities, organize and handle a variable workload.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Must be self-motivated with good organizational skills.

Proficient personal computer skills.

Experience
