Concessions Lead (Personal Services)
The Concessions Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a food and beverage area, ensuring a high level of customer service, product quality, and adherence to safety standards. This position involves managing other team members, ensuring inventory levels are maintained, handling payments and ensuring that all tasks are completed in an efficient and effective manner. The Concessions Lead will be a key player in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. The Concessions Lead will report directly to the Food & Beverage Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes. Manage a team of concessions workers, assigning tasks and ensuring all staff members perform their duties efficiently and courteously. Ability to communicate, instruct and train staff members on procedures, customer service expectations. Food handlers permit. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to interact and maintain an excellent working relationship with customers, management, co-workers and the general public. Managing and/or supervisory expertise in coordinating multiple staff in a variety of positions. Someone who is team oriented, courteous, can delegate tasks, and is firm in maintaining standards. Adhere to State and Local government regulations regarding cleanliness, and general safety within the concessions/food and beverage areas. Lead by example, maintaining a positive attitude and ensuring the team is motivated and focused on providing excellent service. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing prompt, friendly, and professional service. Address customer concerns or complaints in a timely and courteous manner, escalating issues when necessary. Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and assist with reordering when necessary. Inspect deliveries for accuracy and code compliance (temperature, storage, etc.) Ensure all food items are fresh, stored properly, and prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular stock checks and maintain proper rotation of inventory. Oversee the accurate handling of credit card transactions, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met, including proper food handling, storage, and cleanliness of the stand. Ensure compliance with all relevant local health department regulations and safety protocols. Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, and workstations as required. Assist with the setup, teardown, and maintenance of the concessions stand. Maintain an organized and efficient work environment, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Assist with daily reporting of sales, inventory usage, and staff performance to include end of day close out when the Food & Beverage Director is not on site. Report any equipment malfunctions, safety issues, or staffing challenges to the Concessions Manager promptly. Enhance the guest experience , making them want to return. Use creative thinking to provide outstanding customer service.
