Hydrocarbon Extraction Technician - 2nd Shift (Monday- Thursday 2pm - 12am) (Construction)
Choice Labs, LLC is a rapidly expanding Michigan Center based recreational cannabis processor. The Hydrocarbon Extraction Tech will be responsible for safely and effectively extracting oil consistent with company requirements.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare equipment and products for butane extraction.Process material by following standard operating procedures.Ensure consistency of product through testingMaintain and store strict inventory records.Complete routine preventive maintenance and cleaning.Troubleshooting instruments and equipment.Timely and accurate reporting.Quick response to compliance related issues.Assist with implementation of corrective action plans.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Must be 21 or over (required by law)Ability to lift 50lbs.Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.Multi-tasking, strong organizational, and time management skills.Ability to maintain a steady pace working in a fast paced, changing, and challenging environment.Maintain batch records for raw materials and in process materials via any and all internal tracking systems.Reliability is key. Must be present for scheduled shifts.Maintaining a positive mental attitude is a must.Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Effective maintenance of a lab notebook.Basic computer SkillsMaintain cleanliness in a laboratory environment. i.e. Equipment, C1D1 Pod, Ovens, Material Vessels, etc.Monitor stock of daily consumables and report needs to management.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
