POSITION SUMMARY
**The unique value the Quality Engineer brings to Fading West brings value to the organization by developing and optimizing continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. This role works closely with production staff as well as the engineering team to ensure that product plans are translated efficiently and accurately to our manufacturing processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
Review plan sets for accuracy and manufacturability
Develop process flow documentation to ensure all process steps and quality checks are documented properly and followed.
Review shop drawings for accuracy, feasibility, constructability, and efficiency.
Assist in development of standard operating procedures where needed or as it pertains to the quality of the finished product.
Identify process bottlenecks and apply continuous improvement methods, such as lean manufacturing, to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
Collect production data and apply standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes.
Work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
Coordinate and inform non-standard and new production work and processes.
Bridge the gap between Quality, Engineering and Production to ensure all data flows across departments smoothly.

Qualifications
Energized by dynamic environment and problem solving.
Competent with construction and schematic drawings.
High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of written communication.
Extremely high level of attention to detail.
2 + years of experience in related field.
4-year bachelor's degree in applicable engineering field preferred but not required.
Construction background experience preferred.
Manufacturing background experience preferred.
