VP of Loan Operations (Administrative)
Improve service delivery, manage complexities, assess risk, successfully navigate change, and balance strategy and execution to ensure business performance.
Oversee the day-to-day operations across functional teams for commercial loan processing, including related collateral, credit disputes, tax and insurance, quality control, process management, and related projects.
Provide oversight for soliciting, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of simple and complex loans in compliance with the bank's lending policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other internal business departments to enhance processes, workflows, lead responses and problem solving for operational issues affecting lending.
Provide direction for assigned teams, establish goals, process improvements, and workforce planning.
Participate in the research, development, communication, and implementation of lending policies
Establish and foster strong relationships with stakeholders including customers, staff of companies affiliated with Community Bank & Trust, regulators, examiners, and other external partners.
Ensure CBT's compliance with all related state and federal regulations.
Maintain a work area that ensures the safety and confidentiality of all customer records and transactions.
Understand and comply with Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Policies and Procedures as appropriate.
Confidently embody the values of CBT.
Represent Community Bankshares Inc and/or its subsidiaries in the community and at community events as appropriate.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated successful past managerial experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Demonstrated excellence in working with peer teams across organizations.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and banking software programs and platforms.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
10+ years of financial and commercial loan services operations experience.
