Job Summary:
Supervises warehouse operations and personnel in order to maintain proper material flow throughout each of their assigned warehouse locations. Works closely with key stake holders (material planners, category leaders, etc.) to ensure proper material support of Construction, Engineering, Operations, Sales and other departments as needed. Oversees the shipping and receiving of equipment and repairs. Daily supervision of warehouse personnel to ensure prompt administration of deliveries and receipts of assets and consumables, including repair items. This position has primary responsibility for conducting ongoing performance feedback and making staffing recommendations/decisions.
Qualification Requirements:
a. Education: High school diploma is required.
b. Experience Level: 5 or more years in warehouse and/or inventory control is required.
c. Special Requirements: Communication / CATV/ telecom industry experience preferred.
d. Valid driver's license required
Knowledge of: a. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and have excellent time management skills
b. Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with the vendors, contractors, and staff
c. Basic Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
d. Oracle, other ERP, or inventory/warehouse management software
e. Must be willing to operate pallet jack, electric lift, and forklift once trained and train others on safe and effective use.
