Hearthstone Communities is in growth mode and currently seeking a Nursing Home Administrator to join our team! The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for all patient care and day-to-day operations in the nursing home! Apply now!
Responsibilities:

Manages the integration of services at the Manor to create a seamless delivery system.
Ensures that changing needs of residents are evaluated and discusses those needs with the family, doctor, and other staff when appropriate.
Maintains courtesy and diplomacy with internal customers (residents and their families, associates) and external contact
Develops and implements policies and procedures with the prior approval of the President.
Develops and implements new programs and services for the residents in order to build census at the Manor and meet the changing needs and market conditions.
Oversees the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Administrator, Social Service Director, Admissions and Nursing Departments and Dietary Services to ensure the quality care of residents.
Works with state, county or local officials regarding inspection, surveys or licensing reviews.
Keeps abreast of new developments in the field of retirement living communities.
Assists the CEO in strategic planning according to stated mission and vision of Hearthstone Communities.
Works with the Director of Marketing and Fundraising to plan and implement new marketing and sales strategies in order to maintain the very highest level of occupancy possible.
Assists directors in preparing budgets and regularly reviews budgets against actual operating expenses in order to make adjustments on a timely basis when necessary.

Education and/or Experience:

Illinois Licensed NHA
Ability to demonstrate company competencies and values.
Demonstrated ability to write and read simple sentences in English.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
