Senior Product Manager - Enterprise Services (Hybrid) (Information Technology)

Amerisure is recruiting for a Senior Product Manager – Enterprise Services, to join our team. This role will be hybrid, working two days a week in the local office. Ideally this role will sit in our Farmington Hills, MI office, or in our Tampa, FL, Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA office.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for driving alignment between business priorities and technology capabilities, ensuring successful delivery of transformation initiatives and enterprise product optimization. This role combines the strategic oversight of a Product Manager, the coordination expertise of a Release Train Engineer, and the change facilitation of a Transformation Support Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with Amerisure's strategic objectives.
Lead product transformation efforts, ensuring alignment with business goals and efficient delivery of enterprise solutions.
Facilitate PI Planning sessions to align cross-functional teams on transformation initiatives.
Develop product roadmaps and prioritize user stories and product features based on customer needs, business value, and partner on technical feasibility.
Act as a senior liaison between business leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration across departments.
Coordinate dependencies and address risks to maintain progress and avoid delays.
Support and oversee structured framework for prioritizing initiatives based on enterprise value and resource capacity.
Oversee the enterprise product portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment and optimizing resource allocation.
Track transformation progress using baseline metrics and key performance indicators to measure the success of enterprise initiatives.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess product outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Coordinate production support activities, including:
Serving as the primary point of contact between business and technology teams to address production issues impacting enterprise products/projects.
Facilitating cross-functional collaboration to resolve incidents, manage problem escalations, and ensure timely communication of resolutions.
Support in establishing and overseeing a governance framework for monitoring production system performance, defining SLAs, and ensuring adherence to incident response timelines.
Proactively identifying patterns in production issues and working with teams to implement preventive measures that reduce recurrence.
The Enterprise Services Product Manager will provide enterprise product delivery while supporting the following initiatives:
Corporate Transformation Efforts: Drive the delivery of large-scale transformation programs and sync with current initiatives inflight.
Dependency and Capacity Management: Align interdependent projects, escalate and manage resource constraints, and proactively oversee mitigation of risks.
Stakeholder Engagement and Transparency: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to align expectations, address concerns, and ensure transparency in product decisions.
Technology Enablement: Support IT in leveraging technology as an enabler for business transformation, ensuring investments yield maximum ROI.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
7 years of experience in product management, preferably in software, financial services, or insurance related field.
Certified Product Owner (CPO), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), and Project Management Professional (PMP)
5 years of product lifecycle management, Agile methodologies, and user-centered design principles.
3 years of commercial property and casualty claims, and project experience within insurance or financial services.
Strong understanding of Agile, Lean, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, prioritize initiatives, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence, and initiative.
Proven ability to translate the product vision into actionable development tasks and ensuring that the product evolves in a way that maximizes value for both the business and the customer.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Intermediate computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Understanding of UX/UI design principles and customer experience strategies.
