Job Description Summary
The VP - Finance has responsibility for overseeing all finance activities including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, business planning, strategic analytics, and oversight of key systems and operational processes. Leader is expected to drive efficiency and partner with business stakeholders to implement actionable deliverables and strategies that drive growth, profitability, and efficiencies while maintaining strong financial controls.
What You'll Do
Responsible for preparing forecast and budget in close connection with business line CEOs, SVP - Finance, and Corporate FP&A.
Maintains close connection to the accounting department and assists in overseeing and approving certains critical processes. Partners with accounting policies on ensuring compliance with SOX controls and oversight of more complex accounting processes.
Supports month end close process including accrual development and oversight of accounting entries.
Create business financial reporting including KPI's and Branch Profitability to be consumed by WM Executive Team.
Manage team of analysts by providing support and oversight of existing and new processes.
Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Related Discipline
5-7 years related experience in Banking Finance
Strong analytical mindset with technical ability, a high level of comfort consuming and synthesizing data from multiple systems of record, and excellent people and presentation skills.
High level of comfort partnering with business and technology stakeholders to plan, test, implement, and maintain key databases and business systems.
Must be comfortable with leading and influencing amidst the evolving needs of a business growing in size and complexity.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $100,000 to 140,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
