Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for helping ensure effective day-to-day operations of the facility and coordinating various activities within the Facility/Terminal. As such, the Operations Coordinator will need to effectively interface with other Facility/Area Management, Operational and Support personnel, Distribution & Scheduling personnel, Corporate Support personnel, Facility/Area Customers' personnel, and third-party Contractor personnel. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with monitoring facility product measurement balance (Over/Short) processes.
Assisting with the coordination of product movements to/from the facility.
Coordinating outage/maintenance gas volume schedules.
Monitoring and reviewing operational information to help insure effective gathering system operation.
Assisting with the coordination of various types of facility maintenance activities so that work is performed safely and in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines.
Assisting with the coordination of minor maintenance activities performed by operational personnel.
Reviewing and updating operating procedures.
Assisting with the collection of data and generating reports for various regulatory reporting functions.
Assisting with the development and implementation of facility capital projects.
Assisting with the training and development of new or less experienced operational personnel.
Ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations and internal company policies.
Coordinating safety meetings and operator training sessions.
Ensuring all changes in procedures and training are completed prior to implementation of new operations.
Representing Operations in new project meetings
Maintaining detailed records of all training.
Participating in Incident Investigations and assist in the resolution of action items.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D is required.
Associates degree is preferred.
A valid operator license is required.
At least 5 years' experience in operations and maintenance of natural gas gathering and/or transmission pipeline is required.
A minimum of 5 years industry experience is required; preferably as a plant operator.
Experience working in an NGL fractionation plant, an NGL Storage and/or Terminal facility, a natural gas processing plant, a natural gas gathering and/or transmission facility, or a petrochemical plant is preferred.
Knowledge and understanding Natural Gas Transportation scheduling cycles is preferred.
Prior experience and broad knowledge of NGL mass and volumetric measurement, ticketing and measurement balance (over/short) processes is required.
Knowledge and understanding of various regulations governing pipelines/plant operations and processing facilities including but not limited to PSM, OSHA, DOT, EPA, NM OCD, etc, pertaining to the area of responsibility is required.
Ability to utilize a variety of business/technical software tools to perform responsibilities is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) is required.
An in depth understanding of the facility operations and maintenance activities, including applicable operating and maintenance procedures, within area of responsibility is preferred.
Ability to juggle competing priorities, multi-task and change direction in a variety of workplace situations.
Ability to multitask and demonstrate a commonsense approach to problem solving.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and effective time management skills to develop knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill job responsibilities in an independent and thorough manner.
