Shipping & Receiving Clerk (Temporary) (Finance)
Shipping and Receiving Clerks perform a variety of shipping and receiving tasks such as receiving, inspecting and distributing supplies and equipment to University departments. This role will be housed under USF Health's Health Informatics Institute.This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and one year of appropriate related experience. Some positions may require possession of a classified driver's license appropriate to the type of vehicle operated.The University of South Florida is a high-impact global research university dedicated to student success. • Compares incoming materials against invoices or purchase orders.
• Maintains and updates stockroom inventory.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly.
• Tags and records surplus property inventory.
• Assembles items as necessary.
• May use pallet jacks, forklifts and other delivery equipment or vehicles.
• Performs other shipping and receiving and clerical duties as needed or required.
