Restaurant General Manager (Food Services)
Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
Create an atmosphere that allows guests to feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed
Manage all business aspects of restaurant
Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to
Responsible for all staff hires and training
Manage budgets, inventory control, and accounting principles of business
Continuously set and meet goals to ensure guest and staff satisfaction as well as financial success of establishment
Diffuse tense situations between patrons or staff members to prevent possible safety or legal issues, ejecting unruly persons if needed
Sustain and optimize profitability, performance and guest satisfaction
Available to work overtime when required
Other duties as assigned by Manager
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.
Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area.
Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
Technical and Physical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
TIPS certified preferred
2 years' restaurant experience preferred
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach
Ability to lift 50 pounds
