We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, Organizational Design to join our team. This role can be based in Richmond, VA, or we are open to remote work arrangements. This role may require 10-15% travel. This role will work closely with functional leadership and HR Business Partners. Responsible for designing and developing the organizational and position structure to support the organization's mission and enhance productivity and effectiveness. Works with business and functional leaders to make strategic decisions regarding company hierarchy and personnel infrastructure. What you'll be doing:
Co-develop and execute OD strategy, process, and practices for specific functions that are going through E2E transformation initiatives
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities within the current organizational structure and culture
Develop and implement organizational structures and processes that cultivate collaboration, efficiency, and adaptability
Champion continuous improvement efforts to refine organizational practices, ensuring they remain agile and effective
Utilize a variety of assessment methods to capture the information needed to present informed recommendations
Review and analyze work processes, workloads, workflow, and functional interrelationships to identify ways to improve efficiency and productivity
Develop and present organizational structures and staffing models
Identify and implement strategies to improve cross-functional collaboration and break down silos within the organization
Utilize data analytics to inform organizational design decisions and measure the impact of implemented changes
Encourage a culture of innovation that supports the organization's growth and adaptation to new challenges and opportunities
Skills
Org Design and Workforce Planning: Ability to use research and data to anticipate future talent needs, assess skills gaps, and develop plans to build a skills-based, future-forward organization. Ability to align an organization's structure with its strategy and ways of working, ensuring the roles, responsibilities, and relationships achieve its goals and objectives.
Consultative Skills: Ability to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on HR-related matters and influencing decision-making.
Employee engagement and experience: Ability to design and execute strategy, initiatives, and programs to create ways of working that cultivates a positive, engaging, fulfilling, and motivational atmosphere for employees. This involves understanding and improving the various factors that contribute to an employee's engagement and overall positive experience at an organization.
What we want you to have:
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
10 + years of work experience with 5+ years focused in organizational design
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale organizational design projects
Strong HR Business Partner experience and/or experience helping to structure or support a Global Business Service model (GBS) preferred
Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to influence and engage at all levels of the organization
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey complex ideas
Proficiency in using organizational design software and tools
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
High level of emotional intelligence to navigate organizational dynamics and lead with compassion
Strong HR Business Partner experience and/or experience helping to structure or support a Global Business Service model (GBS) preferred
The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $128,700.00 - $196,200.00. We deliver a market-competitive, equitable pay with a Total Reward program that includes:
