Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager (Marketing)

Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager
The Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager (Senior Manager) leads and manages the firm's competitive intelligence function. Using a variety of research and intelligence resources, the Senior Manager provides actionable intelligence and analysis on clients, potential clients, industries, markets, and competitors for use by the Marketing and Business Development Department (MBD), senior management, and department and practice chairs.
This role provides research and intelligence support for marketing and business development activities across the firm, including pitches and RFP responses, strategic business development and marketing planning, Client Service Teams, Client Feedback Program, and lateral partner integration. In addition, this position manages delivery of research requests from practice group leaders and other firm leadership in support of firm strategy, including lateral hiring pursuits, practice launches, and client targeting.
This role requires an understanding of the latest legal and business research methods and tools and the most effective way to deploy them. The Senior Manager must be able to interpret and analyze research findings, proactively identify trends, and articulate potential opportunities for the firm. Essential duties are performed personally or in conjunction with other members of the Marketing and Business Development Department.
Katten offers a hybrid work model, allowing the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely on a regular basis (KattenFlex). The Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager can be located in either our Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, or Washington, D.C. office.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The annualized salary range for this position in the Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. office is $140,000 to $180,000. The annualized salary range for this position in the New York office is $150,000 to $190,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
