How You'll Do It
Build a portfolio of clients by actively researching and seeking out prospectsAct as the liaison between clients, carriers, shippers, and receiversDevelop long-term relationships with clients and carriers by providing them with excellent customer serviceNegotiate rates with clients and carriersFreight management; Manage daily shipping needs of clientsLocate carriers for negotiated loadsCommunicate daily with customers, carriers, and team membersProactively identify and solve problems
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in professional Selling, Business, Communications, Supply Chain Management or another related field is strongly preferred or equivalent experienceSales experience is NOT a requirement; we hire for attitude and prefer employees with an entrepreneurial mindsetStrong negotiation, Conflict resolution, written and verbal communication skillsMust be detail-oriented with excellent time management and multi-tasking skillsMust embody a strong work ethic and desire to learn sales techniques and strategies in a fast-paced environmentAble to work full time, onsite at an office.
