SUMMARY: Responsible and accountable for all logistics support to customers which may include both on shore and offshore activities.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Assist with the supervision, training of staff members, inventory/cost controls, control and accounting of company assets, planning and forecasting activity level demands, maintain and direct employees. Also, major role in quality assurance/quality controls on all stored and transported/movements of customer equipment and oilfield materials. Implement procedures required for all company compliances to ensure all targets are met. Operational point of interface with customer. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business, transportation or related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE: 10 years' industry experience with 3 - 5 years in a supervisory or management position. Minimum 2 years working overseas preferred
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
OTHER: Ability to travel and work long hours. Subject to Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check to obtain your driving history.
JOB SCOPE: Position impacts a single business unit/segment.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works both inside an office environment and outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
