Leading Tax Company seeking mature professional for Area Tax Manager in the metro Phoenix area!
Benefits:

Minimum Requirements:
• 1 year tax or accounting experience preferred
• 5+ years management experience
• 3 professional references
• Associates degree or higher preferred but not required
Duties Include:
-Prepare tax returns for individual, business, and self-employed clientele
-Manage a staff of approximately 30 seasonal employees amongst multiple locations in the metro Phoenix area
-Manage daily operations, administrative duties, scheduling, and productivity; Track and approve all time and attendance; Maintain awareness of store activity trends and set work schedules to provide full coverage and minimize customer wait time
-Interview, hire, and direct the on-boarding and training of new employees to ensure a seamless and efficient transition
-Lead the successful set up of multiple storefronts prior to the beginning of tax season, to include computer hardware, desks, office supplies, signage, etc.
-Coordinate all new employee training prior to tax season start
-Identify areas for productivity improvement and implement solutions; Track solutions to completion, monitor results, and adjust as necessary
-Actively promote the brand and be an active recruiter, always looking for new talent
