Are you passionate about books, publishing, and the creative process? Dover Publications is looking for an Editorial Intern to join our team this summer! Gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and real-world skills while working on exciting book projects.
Internship Details:
Duration: 10 weeks (June - mid-August)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6 hours per day
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Hybrid Position - Flexible but structured with regular onsite and online meetings
What You'll Do:
- Help build and manage our editorial library
- Review and organize editorial submissions
- Maintain and update editorial databases
- Assist in book-concept development and content planning
- Gather and organize creative assets for projects
- Gain exposure to all stages of the book-development process
- Attend meetings and contribute fresh ideas
- Collaborate with marketing, design, editorial, sales, and operations teams
- Interest in publishing, books, and content development
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Word & Excel
- Bonus: Knowledge of Adobe Suite and an interest in design/illustration
